Regal Celebration of Lights

Join us for the Regal Celebration of Lights in downtown Knoxville to kick off the holiday season. Enjoy the lighting of the 42-foot Mickey Mallonee Christmas in the City Tree in Krutch Park Extension. Live music with the a cappella group Jingle 5 begins at 5:15 pm, and the tree lighting ceremony starts at 6 pm. After the tree is lit, activities for all ages begin: enjoy crafts with local businesses, Home Depot’s Little Elves Workshop, make a card for local veterans with Holidays for Heroes, and marvel at the miniature train set. Live music continues on the Market Square Stage throughout the evening, and food trucks will be on site. Free admission; parking is free in city-owned garages. It’s also opening day for Holidays on Ice if you want to go skating.
